About Troop 7
| Troop 7 was first chartered January 1977 and has had a long tradition. Troop 7 is now 31 years old and is proud to say that has recently celebrated the 72nd Eagle Scout in our Troops History. Seventy-two Eagle Scouts have earned their Eagle Scout Rank while in Troop 7 and countless other boys who started Scouting Trail in Troop 7 have obtained their Eagle Scout in other Troops throughout the country. |
| Troop 7 currently consists of around 40 boys and 30 adult leaders. Troop 7 has always been gifted with a VERY large number of adult leaders that are willing to give of their time to help out the boys. With our large number of adult leaders, we have been gifted with a very wide variety of professions allowing Troop 7 to offer the majority of the merit badges from Merit Badge Counselors in the Troop. |
Troop 7 Meeting Time
Troop 7 meets every Tuesday night at 7:00pm, except when school is in session (we don't meet when Springfield Public Schools is closed), and in the summer we meet every Tuesday unless we are at Summer Camp.
Troop 7 Committee
Our committee meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month unless the troop is not meeting or it has been re-scheduled. Consult the Calendar.
